no it doesn't work like that. If you want your dropped item to be on ethereum - you must initiate a transfer and pay gas to move it on mainnet.

If anyone has trouble with the game freezing at the loading screen, tell them to try closing the game and deleting the data in the following directory: PC: `C:\Users\\AppData\LocalLow\Loom Network` Mac: `/Users//Library/Application Support/com.loomx.czb` And try the opening game again

This is very refreshing to see. Pretty much all the alts I watch closely, have some kind of grant program for attracting devs. Glad that Loom can do attract devs without paying them. Suggesting it solves a real problem and not just a made up problem.

No matter what I do to commit a state change on a transaction, web3j is always throwing exceed block gas limit. Whereas my co-worker code works out of the box. I have no idea what's going wrong. How do I drill down 'exceeds block gas limit" issue? The amount gas I'm willing to pay is very high. Is there a way to force to to ignore the gas limit and let the transacation go through?

You can create dApp smart contracts in Go or Solidity as well as SolidityX (Loom creation). I believe SolidityX is a more secure version of Solidity and optimized version for the Loom EVM. It compiles into Solidity.

n00b question altert - is it in the interests of loom network to keep the token price low ? im guessing that the cheaper the token , the cheaper it will be to play games or develop on loom and therefore increase the chances of it being used. Why do games need to be on the blockchain ? why would a developer build a game on blockchain ? will the developer need any special coding skills ? ZombieChain will be much easier to get ramped up and scale. dApp devs won't have to run the servers themselves and worry about nodes and consensus. They just write the dApps, but then have to pay for use of the network

A wallet only stores keys. You don't really send tokens to a wallet. You transfer the right to transfer by signing transactions such that in the future those tokens can then in turn be transferred again by another address controlled by some other key ... Wallets hold private keys and seeds, not the actual data on the block chain.

For some cases, the 2-block solution Rob mentioned above works... No links to resources, but basically you have 2 parties pick their choices of numbers, submit the hash in 1 block, and next block when they are verified, reveal the numbers they picked - you can add the numbers together and you have something "random"... Other than that I'm not aware of any bulletproof answer. I am a fan of the Luckbox project as a novel blockchain with an RNG in it but that doesn't help you at all.
