Right now only Ethereum. If there's enough demand from developers on our platform we can add support for smart contracts on another platform but it's not on our roadmap currently. I'm not aware of another blockchain platform at the moment that has wide developer usage aside from Ethereum though.

Look into Neblio, not being widely used yet, but it is the easiest platform to use

Yeah there are a million of these ICOs now, none of them seem to have any real users right now, just token speculators. Ethereum's the only platform developers are actually building on so that's our only focus for the foreseeable future.

Our initial focus is on turn-based games because it's a simpler problem to solve and a prerequisite for mmo games with a lot of state changes. Mmo games realistically won't be supported for quite some time, but developers can start slowly moving the most important pieces over to the blockchain first like item ownership. Correct me if my understanding is wrong: Loom depends on the Security of EThereum,which is POW and people generally say POW is more secure than POS. In all fairness, (mind you I am a LOOM supporter) EOS has 121 block producers. Of that 121, 20 will be selected to help with a majority of the work going to the top few producers. dPos was there before Larimer, Next project has it raiblocks has it. It is one of the consensus protocol studied in distributed systems.

Just curious why is is important to you? The codebase Larimer had had a major flaw detected (with respect to BFT)a couple of weeks ago. Vitalik, jae Kwon etc. helped them address. Their advise in the end was don't roll your own consesnsus unless you know what ur doing. Loom is going to release SDK in June. You will be able to check for yourself.

for decentralized exchanges, you generally have to first give their contract approval to transfer the asset for you, then you make the sell order and submit it. Then when someone accepts the order, the DEX contract transfers the erc721 from you to them and gives you the ETH

If you only need 1- 10 tokens and do not have exchange account, it is cheap and easy to purcahse from loomx.io for $1.99 - very convenient way for people new to blockchain to get involved.
