I have the same issue, I bought 100 binance packs using metamask wallet via the trust app and no packs appeared. You have to email support@loom.games and let them know, just to warn you that they are really busy. Hope that helps

Ok one thing I noticed is that i can't stake anything with decimals. For example I can stake 250 but not 250.X amount. I think someone should add a popup message that says you can't stake fractions of loom less than 1 so they would know to round it.

That's not how public blockchains work. Everything is open source and shared between projects. Forking is not a concern. Many forks of bitcoin and ethereum, that didn't diminish them.

I think those articles about paying with BNB were a bit confusing - I think it's more you can now use ETH, BNB or any other ERC20 token inside PlasmaChain to interact with dApps. However as Intro pointed out, dApp developers still pay for usage fees in LOOM

I think the general idea is for developers to be required to pay in Loom for transactions on the network and have users not have to worry about the token. That way I can go play a game built on Loom for instance without having to interact with the blockchain directly at all

Maybe. Hard to tell. We're at a staked amount where the 20% will be valid for 3+ years (need to check math again on Excel, but we don't drop below 20% for the second year (2020) until total staked for 2019 is over 225 million, and that's with all of it staked for a one year lockup up bonus)

It seems it was a hardware issue. I use an USB splitter, had to get that thing out, now it worked when directly connecting the ledger to usb port of PC. But I have used ledger + usb splitter before successfully... however, its solved...

I believe we had a chat about this already in private. So yeah, I'm well aware of the prices. Out of my experience it is just really hard to get validators to agree upon a commission and not use that rate as a tool to get more delegations. That's why I was asking.

I think we are still at very early stages of understanding how dPoS systems work in terms of long term economics. There isnt anything written into the protocol but i guess its all just differences in how chains are starting up with their validators

totally agree, its a very exciting period right now while validation economics gets figured out. The market will eventually find a balance that benefits all players within the ecosystem.

I believe that especially in the long term this can be achieved through transaction fees and such. If your chain gets used enough you can start to pay your validators through fees and they don't have to rely on high commission rates to keep their business running sustainable.

I wouldn't fully agree on that. Most validators use a hybrid solution using bare-metal servers and cloud nodes (very cheap nowadays). Setups have to be more complicated than PoW setups because of downtime and double-sign slashing. What makes the setup most expensive imo is the development of custom software right now. Efficiency will only make the price go down after some standards have been established in that area. I believe that validators that are running price wars are mostly ignoring that need for monitoring and are risking the stability of the chain for some extra profits. We all know that Tendermint currently doesn't handle tx spam / flooding really well. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that halted your chain at one point because some tx stayed in mempool and that crashed validator nodes. Any good monitoring system would've caught that and alerted validators before it happened. That doesn't mean that anything is wrong with your validators, I know some of them personally and they are very qualified to do a great job in that area. It just means that those are the very early days and there needs to be a lot of work done before we talk about efficiency.
