Here on Massachusetts if you know how to create and app and knows how to create a nas server, you get paid 17 an hour working at somebody datacenter, and you just really sit and check that everything is working fine and they give you about 4 to 8 hours of work. So I guess learning programming is good.

There are no DApps on plasmachain for the moment, correct ? So it means that the first validators will get 0 rewards until someone deploys a DApp on plasmachain or until the model is extended to the others sidechains like gamechain or socialchain. Given the locked stake (1.25M loom) and the amount required to run a validation node, I'm a little bit confused about all this... What are the incentives for the validators ? I'm sure I missed something important but I don't see it 😜

you still have full and absolute ownership of your tokens when you stake them. You’re only temporarily assigning your tokens to the validator. It requires a 6-month lock-up period on the staked tokens。

I recently attended a meetup from Quantstamp (security auditor/auditing protocol). One of their main causes for returning contracts back to their clients, is because code coverage of the unit tests would be insufficient. For example, before accepting an audit, they want 90+% code coverage atleast. In most their requests, unit tests wouldn't even cover 50+% of the code, which felt like quite a big issue. Although most of these projects and coders would probably not need or use cryptozombies anymore, it is quite remarkable that even most current solidity developers lack in their unit tests

Thank you for explaining, Luke. Loom is great and I'm happy learning it. FYI, there are 2 reasons I wanna adjust block time: 1. Loom is a very game-oriented solution, which is one of the reasons I'm very interested. For game RTT is very important. 0.5 sec and 1 sec give us totally different user experience. 2. dPoS is a high performance consensus algorithm, and EOS has proven that 0.5 sec for a block is possible.

you cant use it like that. which is why fps games isnt currently possible fully on chain
